“Earth Is Not a Gift, It’s a Loan: Why Protecting the Climate Is So Important for Us?”

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

As we all know, the atmosphere which is around us is called climate, and when it starts to change, it impacts our lives significantly. It influences our lifestyle. A healthy climate helps us to live long, but sometimes it becomes the cause of many deaths.

Welcome to our new article – why protecting climate is so important for us!?

The influence of climate change is not only limited to our environment anymore. It affects our daily life and leaves a major impact on us. The increasing heat in summer, fires in LA (America), melting glaciers, land subsidence, etc., are all prime examples of climate effects. If we can’t protect it in time, it will become a nightmare for all of us.

Why do we need to protect it?

According to WHO and The Lancet Countdown, we have lost approximately 5,547,000 human lives last year due to climate effects, in which approximately 2,466,503 deaths were reported in India (the major causes of death are heavy fossil fuel pollution and air pollution).

These are the cases which have been reported, but many people are dying slowly from inside. They are facing severe lung issues, and many people are becoming victims of asthma.

Due to an unhealthy climate, the development of the human body is compromised, and innocent newborn babies are affected the most.

And not only this, but because of the continuous destruction of nature, we are witnessing shrinking seasons. The seasons of autumn and rain are becoming unpredictable, and the period of these beautiful weathers is getting smaller.

Instead of all the seasons, we face extreme heat. Yes, while other seasons are shrinking, summer heat is increasing drastically every year, and that’s how it becomes one of the main reasons people are migrating from one place to another. They want to live where they can get healthy weather and cleanliness, mainly close to the mountains.

Climate change is not only affecting human lives and weather, but it is also becoming one of the biggest causes of many animals, birds, plants, and insect species going extinct every year. And who is responsible for that? It’s us. We humans are responsible for it. We take things for granted. We daily pray for paradise or heaven, but do we really deserve that?

Planet Earth itself is no less than heaven, but we don’t value it. We are making it hell with our own hands. And the truth is, we are the real danger to Earth. If someday Planet Earth writes a story, we humans will be the main villains of that story.

Indirectly, we all are contributing to making hell on Earth. We are killing lives. And it’s not only about who is doing it but also those people who are ignoring this emergency situation and not stopping those who are making Earth a bin of trash also have to realize that they are promoting them. These things shouldn’t be normalized. This should be called out publicly.

Right now, we can take tiny steps to protect our environment, and we can also force companies to accomplish their social responsibility toward our environment.

We have to choose our government officials carefully, who can represent our land, our people, our environment, and our priceless planet Earth.

Those who value life and care about everyone, not only humans, but also animals, birds, and plants have life there. And as individuals, we should show empathy towards others. We shouldn’t pollute our surroundings and have to treat all the Earth as a home.

How can we forget that we were born just because Earth managed to adjust all the possibilities in our favor? But we take it as a gift. No, it’s a loan, and you and me, we all have to repay it someday. However, you can adjust the interest rate by using your loan amount carefully.

If we demand something from the universe, first we have to show that we value what we have, and we will value what we will get.

Humans are the most intelligent beings on Earth, but somehow this intelligence turns against us, and we are destroying our own existence.

And now the question is, if we don’t wake up now… then when!?

Thank you for reading this article.
